The "Frog Boy"

For Ethan's birthday, Aunt Coco, Uncle Tim, Heidi and Sam sent the ultimate rain gear, which while wearing, magically transforms our toddler into "Frog Boy"! With his sleek coat and super cool boots, Ethan is invincible! Oops...the one picture where he isn't wearing the boots...trust me, he wears those things EVERYWHERE!

What? It could have happened...

Potty Time!

I spoke with Ethan's teacher today about potty-training which she said she's been asking him if he wants to go potty. I told her, "He just isn't ready yet. He's not interested." Of course, he'd have to prove me wrong tonight as he walks up to his potty and tells me he needs to go potty. To humor him, I place his potty seat on top of the BIG potty and let him sit there while he reads, "Where's the poop?" The next thing I know, I heard the sound of a successful pee pee in the potty!

I doubt this is truly the beginning of serious potty training since Ethan rarely has time to tell me about his toileting needs, but it's at least a start. Yay for Ethan!
