When your puppy gets out of line...

Sometimes your puppy can get out of line and you have to show her who's boss... that would be me!

3 is a magic number...

This weekend was filled with visits from my grandparents! What more could a kid want?... staying up late, a set of arms to hold you all the time, undivided attention...

Grandma and Raddy were the first to arrive bringing with them a brand new futon just for me! Well, maybe it's more for them to sleep on when they come to visit, but I like to think of it as being my special place to relax.

Grandma read to me some of my favorite books including Goodnight Gorilla, the Belly Button Book, and Is Your Mama a Llama? while Raddy and Daddy put together the futon.

Mema and Papa arrived later and took me out to eat 3 times!!! Knowing how important music is to our family, Mema gave me some new CDs, of which my favorite is Elizabeth Mitchell's "You are my sunshine"... Mommy has been singing that crawdad song for weeks but only knew the first verse. Thank goodness she can finally sing the other 3! By the way, my apologies to Mema for not posting our picture together. Your eyes were closed every time. We'll have to try again or you can send me one and I'll put it up for my next post. Oh, Mema and Papa also brought me a copy of Sydney's article from the newspaper! I miss you Sydney! (I've known her since I was a wee little speck in the womb!)

To our friends and family who live out of town, we now have a place for you to sleep if you want to come visit, sooooooo... COME VISIT!

They had three in the family and that's a magic number"

Fried Green Tomatoes

Did you know that Mommy and Daddy eat fried green tomatoes? I always heard stories about how my big brown puppy would eat green tomatoes off of the vine, but that always gave him an upset tummy. His weren't fried though...

Daddy and Mommy took me to the Whistlestop cafe where the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" was filmed. It's not a very big town, but there are big trains that pass by all the time. Choo choo!!! The best part of the entire trip was seeing the Jackalope above the front door. Daddy says a jackalope is a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope. Mommy says it's just plain freaky. I think it's so COOL!

Stay tuned for my next big adventure...

Tadpole, Take Your Time To Be A Big, Green, Grown-Up Frog Like Me.

"Tadpole, wiggling in the water,
Brand new world is there for you to see.
Lots of time till you grow up to be
A big frog like me.

Tadpole, haven't got a worry,
Biggest job is swimming peacefully.
Wonder if you know you'll grow up to be
A big frog like me.

Changes happen as time passes by.
Soon enough, you'll be grown,
With a home on a lily pad
And some tadpoles of your own.

Oh, little tadpole, wiggling in the water
Far from all responsibility.
Take your time till you grow up to be
A big frog like me.
Tadpole, take your time to be
A big, green, grown-up frog like me."

Just for fun...

So, blogging hasn't been as easy since the move, but we've still had some time to capture a few fun photos. The camera batteries are dead, but I will recharge them soon and update Ethan's blog.

After bath fun...

Grandma G, does this little face remind you of someone?
