Paging Dr. Ethan

That's right! I just might follow in my Daddy's footsteps and become a MD... for now, it's fun pretending... can I listen to your heart?

So, I have a new cousin... his name is Samuel, but we're calling him Sam for short. I really like him. He's cute and smells good. Heidi really likes him too. She's going to be such a great big sister!

Friday night, Mommy and I traveled through several storms just to see Sam. It was scary, but we made it safely to Aunt Heather's. Thanks for letting us invade your home Aunt Heather! And thanks for sharing your chocolate cookies... yum!

New Cousin!

Congratulations Aunt Heather, Uncle Tim, and Heidi! Baby boy C was born this morning weighing 6lbs 15oz. We can't wait to hear what you've decided to name him AND we can't wait to meet him!

Transition

An opportunity fell into our laps today, so we are making a transition sooner than expected. I had planned to move Ethan into a "big boy bed" by Christmas, but our pastor and his wife decided to give us their child's toddler bed for FREE!!! It was dropped off tonight and Ethan is sleeping soundly in it. We are bracing ourselves, hoping he won't freak out tonight if he happens to wake up and forget about the change in his bedroom. Despite the risk of having a roaming toddler in the middle of the night, this transition is probably for the best. Ethan has been trying to climb the sides of his crib for weeks now. Please pray this goes well.

Speaking of prayer...

Our family would like to wish Aunt Heather luck tomorrow as she will be induced to have her baby boy. We'll be praying for you and can't wait to meet our new nephew and Ethan's new cousin! We love you Heather!

White Coat

Saturday was Daddy's white coat ceremony, which means he is officially a medical student now. I wish I could say that I was completely attentive during the ceremony, but I cannot lie... I had more important things to do...

First trip to the beach...

Daddy and Mommy took me on a trip again this weekend, but this time we visited Grandma and Raddy. Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 5th anniversary, then we went to the beach!!!

I like the way it feels when the waves wash over my toes...
