A Preview of Pictures
This post is only a preview of many pictures to be posted from this past weekend.
My good friend Charlie, and his mommy and daddy, came over Friday night to Papa and Mema's for some Chinese! We played drums and went for a stroller ride after dinner. Here's Charlie soaked with water after playing in the fountain.
Here I am getting my first haircut at Yams!
I played all weekend with my cousin, Heidi! She wants to name her baby brother Ethan too, but for now, she insists on calling him Curly Top... I wonder what her mommy and daddy will decide to REALLY name him...
And finally...

A cure for Mr. Fussypants!
Today I was fussy.
I don't know why.
I don't know what was wrong, but I just felt fussy.
I refused to nap.
I refused to play.
I cried hysterically all morning making my parents late for church and miss Sunday school. So this is what Daddy and Mommy did to chase Mr. Fussypants away...
A walk on the trail in my jogging stroller ending up at my favorite place... the pool! I dipped my toes, splashed with my hands, and seemed to have a good time, but it didn't completely scare the fussiness away...
So, back into my stroller I went to travel further along the trail to the playground, but not to play. Daddy set up his hammock from Eagles Nest Outfitters. This was the cure for Mr. Fussypants! Oh yeah, and the nap that followed afterward...

Happy Mommy's Day!
Today we celebrated Mommy... I don't really understand what all this means, but I really had a great time! We started our day by going to church where I decided to be quiet during the service. It helped that the little girl seated in front of us held my hand for most of the sermon. I found out afterward that she's the pastor's granddaughter... woohoo! After church, we came home, ate lunch, and then went to the pool where I puttered around in my little boat. Daddy and I gave Mommy her Mother's Day gift which was none other than a Starbuck's gift card to help pay for her addiction to frappuccinos. She was thrilled! We also bought her a fern because she's been begging for some foliage to fill up space on our porch. Happy Mommy's Day! I love you Mommy!
Check another developmental milestone off the list! I'm pulling up on everything and trying to take some steps. Watch out world! Here I come!

Two Posts
I've been having trouble posting series of pictures on Ethan's blog, so I had to break up our Sunday post into two separate ones, so don't miss Ethan's trip to the pool posted below.
The following pictures were taken at our local playground/park. We like to go for walks on the trail whenever we can, so when the path ended at the playground, I couldn't resist the opportunity to show Ethan how to slide... he could have cared less.
Today, while walking the trail back home, we had an unexpected encounter with a 3-foot long black snake. Thankfully, it moved off the path so we could pass by. Ugh!

A Trip To The Pool
One of the many advantages of living where we do is our unlimited access to a nice big pool! Mommy and Daddy took me there Friday night and let me dip my toes in the water. I liked it so much that I kicked water all over myself and Mommy! Wee! So, the next day, I went back prepared wearing my Little Swimmers diaper and a bathing suit. I'm determined to swim like a fish!
Who wants to go for a ride? I'm driving.
