Update from Mommy:
Several weekends ago, we purchased Ethan some squeaker shoes (Wee Squeak) which supposedly encourages infants to walk heel to toe by squeaking (like a dog toy) everytime they step correctly. I guess this is a way to rally against toe-walking. Ethan loves them! He's not walking independently yet, but he is pushing his little car around squeaking with almost every step... squeak, squeak, squeak!

Ethan also started daycare 2 weeks ago since his Daddy is starting medical school in a month. It has been really tough. The first week he cried hysterically to the point that his sweet little voice is now raspy and hoarse. Poor thing. Anyway, the second week went much better with Ethan taking 2 1/2 hour naps, making new friends, and eating all sorts of new table foods (okay, so he stole the food from some of the other kids--hey, if it hits the floor, it's free game!).
We also gained a red wagon with a pretty significant story behind it. Probably about 8+ years ago, my grandfather (great-Raddy) purchased a couple of red wagons. One was for my nephew, who was about 3 or 4 years old at the time, and the other wagon was saved in a storage shed with the intention that my grandfather was going to lovingly bestow this precious red wagon for his next great-grandchild. Believe it or not, Ethan just so happens to be that next great-grandchild. Unfortunately, my grandfather never had the opportunity to meet Ethan because he lost his battle with cancer 5 days after Ethan was born. But, the red wagon was not forgotten. It was pulled from the storage shed, still housed in its box, BUT the paint was peeling off. So, my dad (Raddy) took it home with him, stripped it, repainted it, sealed it to prevent rust, and brought it to us for baby Ethan to enjoy. So now we haul Ethan up and down the sidewalks singing, "Riding along in my little red wagon...Riding along in my little red wagon..."

And finally, this is the latest breaking news... Ethan is saying "Uh oh"...
Alright, so maybe it's more like "ah oh" but it's purposeful vocalization instead of babble and squealing! Yay!!!!
But he still doesn't have any teeth... what's up with that?
