Christmas 2008 (Rounds 1 & 2)

Rounds 1 & 2 of Christmas have been completed. We began our family Christmas on the 24th with our family tradition of eating a small dinner (this year, a quiche) and attending the candlelight service at church. We celebrated Christmas morning at home with one grumpy toddler demanding his "chocolate coffee" right away, being completely oblivious to his new table and chairs set, art easel, and a bunch of presents under the tree (which were NOT there the night before) and a sleepy infant who had no clue what all the fuss was about.


After some talking about baby Jesus, ripping open presents, and play-time, we packed our bags for an overnight trip to see Memaw and Papa (and the bazillion aunts, uncles, and cousins that were there). More presents, more play, a big Christmas meal, and lots of sweets, we posed for a picture or two this morning before heading back home. Round 2 complete... round 3 begins tomorrow with Raddy and Grandma. Until then... a few pictures of our first Christmas as a family of 4!

Oh, and did I mention that Ethan has a double ear infection (hence the finger up the nose in the previous picture)? He's feeling much better now, though still looks a little rough. Poor Knox is coming down with something too.
